Paintbox Quilt-Along Progress

I finally decided it was time to get cracking on the Oh Fransson! quilt-along. I am using scrap fabric that I have at home and I bought white Quilter's Muslin for the solid colour in all of my blocks. I am doing the Classic Variation blocks. It was surprisingly easy to do and I have managed in the last 2 days to knock together 60 of the 80 blocks. I haven't taken photos of all of them yet, but here are the ones I have taken photos of.

These are the browny ones.
These are the blue ones. They came out a little lighter than they actually are.
These are my red ones. I have lots more to take photos of, but am still working on the last few and should have them all done hopefully by the weekend.

I have to say I am enjoying using my scraps, but this quilt has hardly made a bent in it. I think I might have to make a few more scrap quilts before I see that happen.

I came across a fantastic Moda Recipe that I am going to do as a compliment to my daughters quilt. It is called I'm Blushing. I am going to use the left-over fabric from her quilt and use it on this wall hanging and hang it on her wall above her bed. I am hoping to get it all done for her 4th birthday in 5 weeks. Fingers crossed.
