What a Busy Month

I have to say that April has been a very busy month for us!

At the beginning of each month I make plans to do lots of different things and find I get to the end of the month and I have only managed to do a few of them. In my defence April is really a very busy month - let me show you.

First off was my DD's birthday! My littlest is now six can you believe it cause I can't! This year her birthday was only one day before Easter so we decided to go to the Easter Show instead of having a birthday party - Little Miss was more than happy with this arrangement. We spent most of the day on rides and walking around the Easter Show none stop. I don't believe I have ever been this tired before, but the kids loved it so that made it worth it all.

Small Cake for the
Occasion

When we got home we celebrated with a small cake with as many candles as my DS could find to put on it.

We also had another birthday - this time a 40th! We managed to get together with my DH's side of the family and have a real backyard BBQ. I love getting together with family for some good food and good wine.

I didn’t take any pictures with my camera as I was tasked with taking pictures with the birthday boys camera but at least DS had fun with his DS camera function. He loves using the special effects, but we might have to work on the angle that he takes pictures at.

We had two weddings, one on Friday night and another one the next day on Saturday - again slack with the camera but this time DD took a few shots with her DS! Right angle but the focus needs a bit of work!
