Well, maybe more like a show and tell really.
I know, yet again I have a bit of a slacker but this weather just doesn’t seem to help with my quilting mojo.
I have managed to do a few things in the last few weeks. I made a baby quilt for my son's teacher's new born daughter. I decided to do a very modern looking coin quilt. I had so many leftover 2.5" strips in all different lengths after finishing my bed quilt and realised that the colours combined in very small blocks would actually look nice as a baby quilt for a girl.
With almost no plan in mind, I just started adding pieces one after the other and then cut the HUGE long strip into equal sized lengths, put in a sashing between each strip and it was done.
Also I just had to show you this:
Don't you just love it? It is an iPhone cover. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and had to get it for my hubby. I would have loved one myself but it only fits the v4 phone and still have v3.
I have this past week only done some quilting for Sew Generous. I have quilted two lovely quilt tops donated from Susan Dunn.
I am hoping to get back into The Farmer's Wife Quilt blocks, but at the moment my mojo is on go slow, so I have been catching up on my Project Life scrapbooking (this is where the Scrap in QuiltSewScrap comes from).
